Since January 2008, D. Michael Collins has been serving as the elected Toledo City Councilman for District 2, a "job" which he truly loves. He views being a public official as a privilege. Public service provides the opportunity for him to give back to the community for the many blessings he received throughout his professional career in law enforcement. He is very enthusiastic about the opportunity to contribute to the improved governance of the City.
