Comments: Mr. Collins,
I ask you to please reject the proposal to increase the tax for those working outside of Toledo. My wife and I cannot afford to pay this increase and would be forced to move from Toledo. I am not threatening, just stating a fact that this would unfairly burden us with taxes that I simply cannot afford. I would gladly pay higher taxes to help the city and workers, but we cannot afford this irresponsible tax. I had hopes that this proposal would be gone with the last administration, but I see that is not the case. Please take into account the supposed Brain drain and all the factors of living and working in this area would encompass. I think this proposal is shortsighted at best and hope you continue opposing it.

Mr. Hojnacki......Let me begin by stating that in 2009 when the Mayor Finkbeiner proposed adjusting the income tax credit by 50% I voted against it. Now comes Mayor Bell and he presents the same proposal however he wants the tax credit eliminated. I would not support a 50% reduction and I will never support a 100% or elimination as Mayor Bell proposes. I believe that the long term consequences will be very bad for our City and in most cases short term fixes are found to be that way. Please know that my vote will be on principle and not on popularity or pressure. I hope I have made my position clear. Thank you again for your time in sharing your concerns with me.

You must be my lucky charm because the problem as soon as I e-mailed you was in motion of being repaired. Today they put in the curb and repaired the street I was told that you were the one I should have contacted a long time ago to take care of this problem. So since, I do not want our residents to get the same run around as I did. I will be sending your campaign money to become our next mayor. Thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy day to contact me, it will be shared with all my neighbors and friends. God Bless you and thank you once again. Give them hell, we need you bad.

Comments: I am certainly voting for Mr. Collins. I have read almost his entire website. I am on the same page as far his opinions and standings are. I do agree that the police and firefighters need to know we appreciate and need them. I am impressed with his campaigning and attitude toward campaigning, good old fashioned know how is what I like to see. Good luck sir and you have my households vote!!
